What to look at before choosing a ring

The outline, the band and the setting each change how a ring looks on the hand.

Begin with the outline

Put a few shapes beside one another. A long outline, a round silhouette and a softened square can each catch your attention in a different way. You do not need to settle on a favourite immediately.

Our shape selector is a place to start browsing. Its photographs are illustrations; use the individual product details and confirmed photographs to understand a particular ring.

Give the band a moment

Look at the width, the space around the stone and the details along the shoulders. Think about the rings you already wear, and whether this piece would sit alone or beside another band.

If you want to wear two rings together, ask to see that combination from the front and side. A single photograph cannot answer every question about fit.

Keep a small list of questions

Note the size you need, the metal option you prefer and anything you cannot establish from the listing. Ask which details apply to the selected variant, including the stone information and any available report.

Before you order, check the ring size, metal and carat options on the product page, and read our returns policy so you know your options.
